Site-to-Site VPN is intended for creating secure connections between branch offices and the cloud, as well as for connecting on-premises networks to virtual networks on Azure.
A public-facing IPv4 address and a suitable VPN device, or Routing and Remote Access Service (RRAS) running on Windows Server 2012, are required to establish a Site-to-Site VPN connection. For Site-to-Site VPN, you can utilise either static or dynamic gateways.
